Why do you recommend fresh water to drain for a dog splash pad?
We always recommend going fresh water to drain for a dog splash pad. Recirculated water can be a hazard for dogs to drink, since there is no way to stop them from drinking it. With the added chemicals and potential urine or feces getting into recirculated water, it can cause gastrointestinal or skin issues when ingested. Using fresh water for a dog water play area is the best option to ensure safe water quality (same as tap water) to keep your pups healthy.
